Hello Everyone. I've been away on a trip to Georgia. There was no snow there either. Where is the snow?
When we got there, everything was backward. The people we stayed with did not like dogs, I had to wear a leash in the house, but not outside, and there were no doggie stores, not even a Petsmart. I know there are "jokes" about backwoods Southern towns, but I'm here to tell you that they are no joke. It is all true.
I hope everyone had a nice holiday, especially my dear friend Kenya. http://kenyacharron.blogspot.com/
Best wishes for lots of bones in the New Year.

Ah, sunny and 35 degrees F. Perfect weather for a Toller, besides snow. Mom is going to throw throw ball! I'm very alert and excited, but she goes back inside after the toss. I have to bark and whine to let her know that I am ready again. A couple of times, I dropped it on the sidewalk or grab it and run, but she won't come out. Gee, what is it with these humans? Just because they don't have this lavish fur coat, they think it is cold.

Hurray!!! My big sister, Kate, is home from college for the Christmas holidays. If I've ever met a funny looking Toller, it's Kate. Although she doesn't look like one, I'm sure she is. She is always excited and bubbly. She has lots of friends who come over to play with me. I love it when Kate is home; I wish she didn't have to leave again.

Papa took Mama's computer and went away. He left me all alone with her. She had to work, so she couldn't play ball with me all day. Although she works at home, she is too busy. No matter how many different balls I bring her, she doesn't throw them for me. I only have 14 tennis balls; they are so mean to me. I hope I get more for Christmas.

Today I played ball. Mama was gone this morning, so I took my favorite tennis ball outside and played fetch by myself in the driveway. I also like to use the ramp up to the house for my feats of self fetching. I do this when Mama is gone. Don't tell her or she might not throw for me anymore.
It is getting cold now, but we have no snow. I want snow. All of my Toller friends in Canada get to play in the snow. It looks like so much fun. I want to play with snowballs instead of tennis balls for a while. Maybe this weekend. I can hope and fetch.
Tollerly for today,
Dixie
